Eleven years ago I was very fortunate to study with Bob Proctor. At our very first meeting in Toronto Canada , he gave me this passage. At first it seemed odd to me as I was waiting in line to introduce myself to him. Others before me appeared to exchange greetings with Bob, move out of the way & take a seat.
As I got to the front of the line, Bob turned slightly to his right and reached for a piece of paper on the table behind him that contained this passage by Thomas Troward . We exchanged greetings he handed me the paper & said “ Lisa you need to have compassion for yourself “ At that moment I didn’t quite grasp the meaning of that comment. But as I’ve traveled my journey to this point in my life it has become very clear what Bob meant .
Here is the gift of freedom Bob Proctor gave to me . It’s not mine to keep but to share with you . Please read it , listen to it , internalize it. There’s wisdom here.
